Dr. Jose Trabanino Jr, MD

Dr trabanino is a bit old school He listens, he give you time and answers all your questions and makes you feel like you are his only patient. He is my favorite doctor!

Dr. Trabanino was my gastroenterologist for almost 26 years. However he missed a serious diverticulitis episode which almost resulted in the perforation of my colon and required emergency hospitalization. Fortunately his colleague on call diagnosed it correctly and sent me to the ER just in time.

Dr. Trabanino is friendly and professional. He makes you feel very comfortable when you are talking about “ Body Functions”. I’m very happy with him, as he replaced my original doctor, who had retired in the past few years.

Dr. Trabanino took time to talk and ask questions very professional and knowable. I would recommend Dr. Trabanino.

Dr. Trabanino took the time to listen to all my issues including what I had tried and what another dr had done etc. He is a very caring and compassionate doctor and his staff is on top of it!

Money Hungry Office: I followed office rules to cancel the scheduled procedure with Trabanino before 48 hrs. Five days before the procedure, I called the office, listened to the menu, pressed 4 for cancellation, was sent to voicemail and left a voice message. That was Friday. On Monday I got a call from Kelly Taylor, the office manager, and couldn't pick up as I was in the middle of a meeting. When I called back, Ms. Taylor was not available and the office personnel could not help with my cancellation request. On Tuesday I was able to answer my phone when Ms. Taylor called to inform me that "Due to MY failure to inform her in person, I must pay $75 cancellation fee." Upon my objection, she promised to check voicemails. A month later I received $75 bill. Other office personnel read Ms. Taylor's account notes: "The message was left with Joanna, not her" and informed if Ms. Taylor demands I still have to pay than I have to pay. As of today, TDDC office manager refuses to waive $75.

Would not recommend. I did not feel like he listened to me, nor took my information into consideration.

Dr. Trabanino is wonderful. He is kind and patient and takes the time to explain as well as to listen. On the first visit I was not terribly impressed with the office staff and found them to be abrupt and somewhat rude. On on a return visit I had a much better experience.

Outstanding Doctor...but very cold hands :)

Asked great questions on my health and took an interest in my life and hobbies. Made me feel at ease about the procedure.

The staff was professional and caring. I was in pretty bad shape and they really took care of me well. Even in spite of my condition, they were still willing to joke around with me! Thanks so much for all you do!

I was with a sharp pain in my abdomen. I went to the Dr Trabanino office and he ordered to do a endoscopy and other tests. The results were sent by mail without any phone call, but the mail was lost, and I never received them. After two weeks without any information from the doctor office, the pain began again. And I had a emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder, because It was not working properly. I lost my time and my money with the doctor. I complained in his office but nothing happened

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes to even be seen. 'Doctor' told me that if I would just lose 50 pounds I wouldn't need medication. (I am at a normal, healthy weight). Reluctantly agreed to prescribe the PPI I was there for, but 'forgot' to send the prescription to my pharmacy. I have left 5 voicemails mails with no return call. Would never return to this office.
