Told her I was unable to sleep due to my chronic pain because I could no longer take the medication that was working for me due to side effects. I'd tried just about everything else she suggested. She told me there was nothing I could do but wait for the new medication to start working as it can take several weeks to feel the full effect. Which I understand. I'm not shooting the messenger here. But I found it rather tone-deaf when she signed off with "Have a great night" after I told her I was in agony and completely restless and there's nothing I can do about it.
