my husband went to see him after his original doctor transferred to another location and decided to give him a chance. he told my husband who is a diabetic he should fast all the time and a good blood sugar for him should be around 40-50. I have previously worked in nursing homes and have seen what happens when gluclose is very low. His advice is very dangerous and I am shocked to think that he was able to graduate medical school.

Don't see him if you're a woman
I went to this practice for persistent bilateral ear pain and drainage and significant dizziness and vertigo and all he did the whole time was lecture me on my weight. I felt very dismissed about my symptoms. I had high blood pressure at this visit, which he also blamed on weight, instead maybe the pain I'm explaining! I have even specifically gone in the past to address my concerns with not being able to lose weight after having my last child to which he was also dismissive and gives diet pamphlets. When you try to explain your healthy lifestyle he just looks at you like he doesn't believe you and tells you what you're doing wrong. I strongly recommend searching elsewhere, especially if you're a woman.

Mishandled
I went to see Jordon because my other doctor had left the practice From the moment I saw him he was judgmental He wanted me to get lab work and wriote it up that I was overweight so my insurance would not cover it That was 300 dollars which should have been covered I also have ADD and have been on medicine for it for ten years He wanted me to go through a series of test that would have been over 1000 dollars out of pocket just to get diagnosed again Needless to say I am driving 40 min to go see someone who cares about his patients well being

Seen him once He wanted me to get lab work done that I thought was covered by insurance but because he wrote I was over weight they did not cover it He also wanted me to go through testing for Add This would have been another 1000 dollar out of pocket, I had been diagnosed 10 years ago and have been taken medicine for it ever since I am now driving 40 minutes to see a doctor I like I do not recommend him to anyone

Fat phobic & Dismissive
He completely ignored my friend's concerns with anxiety and constantly looped the conversation back around to diet, exercise, and screen time. These things are important, but my friend is an active individual. He even went on a tangent about how he believes LED screens are affecting children's mental health and the rate of antidepressants they are on, to a 40 year old man. Very fat phobic and very dismissive.

Completely Dismissive of ADHD
I went in recently for an appointment to start primary care with Holland Hospital as I had aged out of pediatric care. One of my major needs is medication for my ADHD as it allows me to function in school and work. Immediately upon talking about ADHD he pushed it on me to not take medication, constantly brought up how over diagnosed and overprescribed ADHD is, and even went so far as to blame the increased prevalence of screens in our day to day lives as a cause of my symptoms. He seemed completely ignorant to my lifelong disorder and wholly unsympathetic to any of my experiences with ADHD. The entire appointment felt like an arrogant dismissal of my patient needs because he felt that he knew exactly what was already going on in my brain. Would never recommend him to anyone with ADHD or similar disorders.

He is in charge of patients transfering out. It is very clear he could care less about you if you are not going to be seeing him.

He very caring and thorough. He takes his time and follows through with testing and referrals. He called me personally after my blood work to go over results. I’m very pleased to have him as my caregiver.

Judgemental
Was in search of a primary care doctor was assigned one, and saw his PA. I felt completely judged and not heard the entire appointment. Without asking me any questions about my eating habits or exercise he proceeded to assume I ate horribly and didn’t exercise based on just my looks. I let the nurses and PA know that my blood pressure always spikes very high when I get it taken, but I did not feel the PA took me seriously when I explained my anxiety about it to him. I told him I took my BP at home and it was lower, and he told me my machine must be broken. I was told my sodium levels were high and metabolism was low (without looking at any blood work) solely an assumption based on appearance. This entire appointment I felt judged, bullied and was extremely embarrassed that i was being judged solely based on my appearance/weight. I had other concerns to address but did not feel comfortable speaking on anything else the rest of the appointment.

After my visit I received very little help and was left out of the picture for my follow up needs. Showed absolutely no care about my health.
