I met with Jon Ognibene when I had my pre-op meeting with Southern Bone and Joint. He was incredibly helpful and insightful, and he was very much a calming influence for my upcoming surgery. I was extremely impressed with his willingness to answer all of my questions, and he even gave me answers to things I should have asked about but did not.

Jon is very personable and engaged, but don’t let that friendly facade fool you into thinking he is soft. In fact, he is tough. He wasn’t the first PT I was assigned to, but he made me feel like he took a special interest in me and pushed me hard to build my strength and flexibility. I will forever be indebted to the great PT’s at SJRI for their help.

I met Jon as part of the SJRI (Southern Joint Replacement Institute) hip replacement pre-op meeting. The focus of our meeting was on the physical therapy aspect of the process. He assessed my current condition provided me with with goals, post surgery instructions, an overview of the physical therapy process, pre-op exercises, and a list of FAQ's. His presentation was thorough and professional, I left with a clear understanding of what I faced and with a positive attitude.
