He cares
Dr. Wohlers was my psychologist when I was inpatient and twice after. If he releases a patient it is because they are not doing the work or perhaps not wanting to get better. He will not waste his time. He is so compassionate but also firm. He ended a session once because I didn't want to talk that day. I never pulled that again. I highly recommend him. He saved my life and I remember what I learned through him. He really cares and will fight (figuratively speaking) for his patients and he did this for me and others. I've never had a psychologist do that for me since.

His patient for 7+ years. Few years in I wished I'd found someone else but so much time & energy invested, rehashing it all again felt impossible, hindsight, I should have moved on. His therapy style was hard to get used to. I wish I'd understood how big an issue that would be but I was nieve & desperate. To my shock, the final day came, he stated he was done with me and seriously doubted I'd ever "get it". That cold insensitive comment still haunts me today. Unprofessional, hurtful & damaging.
