Reframe, Rethink and Refocus
In 2017 John Crum helped me do something I once thought was impossible — eliminate opiates from my life. I haven’t gone back since, even after undergoing multiple major surgeries. His impact on my life has been profound and lasting. What stood out immediately about John was his presence. He never made me feel judged — ever. He always made me feel heard. And that alone gave me the space I needed to grow.John introduced me to the basics of cognitive behavioral therapy and gave me the gift of his Pyramid of Success, something I still live by today. The base is Structure, Organization, and Discipline. Above that: Sleep, Exercise, and Diet. Then comes Reframe, Rethink, and Refocus — a trio he helped me understand deeply, and which I still use to this day. At the higher levels: Introspection and Insight, then Judgement and Patience. And finally, at the top: Wisdom. His guidance on how to reframe my thoughts and experiences continues to shape how I handle life and business.
