My husband and I highly recommend JR Chappell to everyone. When we need to be seen I always call the clinic first to make sure he's the one working, if not we wait until he's at the clinic!!! He's very thorough and highly knowledgeable!!! My husband had a brain aneurysm and just from JR Chappell listening to his symptoms, he sent him straight to the ER. They called in a vascular surgeon and he removed a large blood clot and put in a double stint. Thanks to JR, my husband's is alive today!

I was seen for an unusual throat infection and NP Chappell was extremely helpful. He provided medication for immediate relief while also waiting to hear back from further test results. I highly recommend his treatment and expertise.

I visited the urgent care for panic attacks/anxiety. Chappell was so kind and warm - he just listened and listened, and made sure to ask for my husband's input since he was with me. I felt like I was his only patient all day based on the time he spent with us. I was so grateful for him and his demeanor that day.

My son saw John Chappell in March of 2016 at the Mercy Urgent Care Montclair-Springfield. He waited five hours to see someone. Then when he seen by John, he quickly looked him over and left the room. Someone else then came in with a diagnosis and prescription. He didn't even come back in the room. The medication made his condition worse. He had to go to another doctor the next day and was diagnosed correctly. Poor medical attention, misdiagnosis, terrible service and bad communication.
