Dr. John Benevento, DPT

I got to know Dr. Benevento back in late 2019 at Dr. Meli's office near holy cross, torn rotator cuff issue, workman's comp. Today at 73 years old, still working, using my shoulder, and never an issue since. Was going through paper work looking for Dr. Meli phone number and stumbled on Dr. Benevento's calling card, went to his web address and here I am. Take care.

I needed physical therapy for my shoulder that was bugging me for a couple months. John and his team were able to get me back on track within a few weeks. They are professional and very friendly, I would definitely recommend them to those in need of PT!

I have been to a number of physical therapists throughout the years and Fixit Physical Therapy is right up there in the top three of my favorite places. Here you are treated like a person. I have seen consistent progress towards my goals and my treatment sessions are evolving with that progress. They perform the standard measurements to track that progress, keep notes of what works and, best of all, I always feel better when I leave! What I like best is that the therapist balances the active time spent with you with the passive treatments like heat or ice packs, ultrasound, etc. The therapists are very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and listen to your concerns. The environment is smaller and more intimate. Fabulous and five stars from me!

Had the pleasure of working with John who took his time with me to find out exactly what my issue was & also my best path to healing. His office was very clean and staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable & professional. I definitely recommend this business.

By far the best physical therapy experience I have had and I’ve had many over the years. The john is professional and helpful when working with your schedule. I was set up with John, whom I highly recommend! He is the most patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable therapist I have worked with. Each session John asked about my pain levels, offered a targeted exercise and explained its exact purpose. His intense “fun” exercises were very specific to my recovery. I appreciated his easygoing manner and his advice for moving forward with continuing the exercises at home are very practical.

John is so thoughtful and intuitive. He keeps us all laughing while we convalesce. I hurt my knee at work and initially was not to keen on the idea of doing physical therapy but now I’m feeling stronger and look forward to stretching and improving.

John is amazing. I have been to other PT's in the past, and they can't even hold a candle to him. He is knowledgeable, caring and super friendly. I automatically felt comfortable working with him. I also truly appreciate the fact that he actually listen to feedback on how exercises made me feel, and adjusted my PT plan, to ensure recovery from my back injury actually happened. I hope I don't need to do PT again, but if I do, I know who to go to.

I’ve been to therapy rehabilitation many times for various injuries.This is the first time That the therapy is actually making me feel better. John cares about his patients in more than one way.He is dedicated,caring,likable and most of all he takes pride in his work.

Dr. Benevento has been treating me for shin splints for the past month and the care has been exceptional. Treatments are always with him and are one on one. I have been to other physical therapy groups that treat multiple people at the same time and wasn't for me. For quality and personal care he is the person to see.

Everyone here is so nice and super friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Jon is knowledgable, thorough and takes time to explain the process and what I can expect. The staff does a great job working together and creating an easy going, comfortable atmosphere. Therapy is not easy to go through but Jon makes it fun and motivating. I would recommend any one to come here for their therapy needs.

I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with John and Juan after my stem cell surgery for my left knee and later, my left shoulder. I always received the warmest greeting from the whole staff upon entering the facility. I was never concerned about any discomfort during the exercises and stretches because I was confident in John and Juan's knowledge and experience in guiding me during this process. I always thoroughly enjoyed this process and am living proof that the therapy worked so well for me. The staff and Doctors are the best.
