Excellent
I was a new patient after delaying too long following my move into the area. I met for a work-up by John Barbara, PA, and was impressed. I'm in generally good health but have some unusual disability issues that a doctor doesn't see every day. He impressed me as a truly nice and well-informed guy. He listened well, answered my questions in detail and had many questions of his own. He took great care of me and followed-up responsively. Recommended!

He does have technical knowledge of medicine and I have no complaint with his examination skills. However, anything he can't be arsed to check is automatically a mental illness thing and he doesn't treat mental illness. Additionally, he mansplained a medical condition I have had for 7 years to me. When I saw the specialist he sent me to to prove I didn't have the condition, she not only diagnosed me with it (I very clearly have it) but also asked me what his problem was. Would not recommend.
