Telehealth
When I first got in touch with Joann she said her insurance portal wasn’t working properly but that I could pay the full amount of an appointment and she’d reimburse me if it started working again. The way we left things is that I’d schedule an appointment a few weeks out and follow up with her a few days prior to the appointment to see if the insurance portal was fixed. I texted her almost a week beforehand and she never responded. I have no idea if that was some type of scam with insurance but now I have to start the process all over again to find a therapist. I would expect better communication from someone within this field. Definitely an unfortunate letdown.
