Dr. Joan Young-Cheney, DC

I was sent to Dr. Young by the VA. After 11 months, Dr. Young still could not remember my diagnosis and treatment plan. I was supposed to put it on my calendar to remind her. She is extremely defensive and the patient is always wrong. At my last appointment, when I reminded her where the pain was, I was snapped at. Then just a few minutes later when I mentioned the pain still there she said she can only treat the areas I tell her about. ???? Seriously! I asked her to feel where a vertebrae feels out and she started lecturing me about nothing being wrong with me. No matter what I say she knows best including changing my diagnosis to fibermyalga even though an orthopedic, an occupational doc, the VA and MRIs do not support her diagnosis. At the last visit she even told me her neck is worst than mine. Huh, but she still works and draws. I can't do either. I would have stopped months ago but the office had a good MT that was actually helping. Don't go there!!!
