Joan Venerosa, PA

Absolute worst experience I have ever had with any medical provider. My 13 year old is sick, coughing and running a fever. PA Joan Venerosa, who was the only provider available, must be the coldest, rudest and nastiest woman I have ever met. She first told me that my daughter only had a cold, and that she did not need medication as it never develops into bronchitis or pneumonia. I thought it was more so she grudgingly agreed to do a chest x-ray. My daughter has pneumonia. She then told my 13 year old with anxiety disorder that she was going to give her a shot of antibiotic in the rear end and to be prepared because it is painful. My daughter freaked out, and I told her no, that I needed her to call in an oral antibiotic instead. She told me she would only after giving her an injection. I refused to allow them to hold down my child, so she refused to call in any antibiotic. She yelled in my face that she is a doctor and knows what she is doing, despite her title of pa. Horrible.
