Joan Shelby is a terrible nurse. She treats her patients with no respect or courtesy, does not know how to do her job and damages their health with her neglect. She is supposed to take care of our veterans in the place of a doctor but doesn’t have the qualifications to do this job. She does not make sure her patients get the follow up care they are supposed to receive after having cancer and receiving radiation. Patients get no help from her and no respect. She should not be allowed to practice

Recently I had a terrible experience that left me feeling mocked, degraded and extremely upset. Due to her lack of compassion, not taking the time to review my medical history and permanent disabilities, asking no medical related questions as to why I was seeking help or advice, her incredibly sarcastic tone of voice, and refusing to further assist me with my medical problems. I highly recommend avoiding this unprofessional and rude Nurse practitioner. Patients deserve better.
