Joan comes across as kind and a good listener but she failed to see major problems during the course of our sessions. She completely missed that my soon to be ex husband was negligent and abusive despite clear discussion on the topic, that he was an addict though it was also brought up in our sessions, and she went so far that he should be placed at the center of our family. She’s not a good therapist because she doesn’t listen.
