My experience with her was exactly as described above. Constantly interrupting, talking over, not fully listening and trying to understand. To be a good therapist you have to be first a good listener, and she is definitely not that. At the end of my last session she basically yelled at me and became belligerent. I was complete baffled over what as I was trying hard to establish connection with her. I would not recommend her. Giving her 2 stars just for showing up on time.

Joan constantly interrupted and talked over me and dismissed my concerns without fully listening to them. She became defensive when I confronted her about this behavior, and while she did apologize at the end of the session, I felt it was too late and that the session had only caused me further psychological distress. I would not recommend her.
