I waited a year to get in to see Jingtao Chen and from the moment he walked in the room I knew he had no interest in me as a patient. He did not ask any prompting questions to understand my symptoms, gaslit me when I didn’t fit into an easy answer, and kept telling me I could just cancel if I was unhappy with the appointment. When I spoke up and advocated for myself, he became extremely defensive. He exhibited limited to non existent social or emotional skills it takes to work with chronically ill patients and I cannot fathom how he chose this career.Do yourself a favor if you want a doctor who will listen to you, take an interest in you and be invested in your case run from this man.
