Great psychologist. Was seen by him for many years!!! Always was helpful and kept you going in the right direction.

One of the best therapists I have ever had. I saw Jessie for over 2 years until I moved, and I wish I could have continued from a far! He is very responsive and if I ever needed him before my next appointment, he would always take my calls or answer my emails with full thought and attention. He would stay late with me as I'd schedule end of the day appointments often and go well over time just to make sure I was stable enough to leave his office. Genuinely a good therapist with full intention of empowering his clients and thoroughly getting to the root of issues and problem solving. He remembers just about everything said in previous sessions, even from years prior, which always made me feel heard and like I was being taken seriously. 10/10 recommend Dr. Maynard.

The best. I saw him 10 years ago. he was right about everything he said. I didn't get him. seemed too young. too positive. seen 4 other psychs. they took weeks to understand what he had from jump. I was getting worse. giving up on treatment. I came back after 7 years. we picked up right where we left off. no judgements. I've solved my problems. my life is better now. he believed in me before I did. now I understand why he's so happy to help. I wish I would have stayed 10 years ago. positive guy.

I left treatment empowered. For me, a philosophically-based approach works well. I don't jive with 'how do you feel', emotion-matching (feels fake) and need more than self-care/mindfulness. Jessie helps unpack complex systems - in a dialectical approach - so YOU tease out the resonating middle ground. We tackled dynamic issues (family systems, identity, trauma, abuse). His clinical interventions had more impact than 7+ psychs. Style is unique, but once you groove, the depth is unrivaled.

Not a good listener. More interested in talking about himself. Jokes about serious concerns. Likely will feel worse after a visit.
