Dr. Jessica Robbins, PHD

Dr Robbins called me at home requesting information about my husband and my permission to treat him. She had encountered him in a treatment facility and I found her call entirely appropriate. I authorized the treatment she offered. She billed Medicare for her phone call to me and when they denied payment she billed me. I have called three times about this bill. She never informed me there was a charge for my talking with her. She was paid for her treatment of my husband. I think the denial may have been a coding error but I have been unable to get it corrected. It was also during a COVID no visitors period which limited her face to face contacts. I will have to pay her as the bill has now gone to collectors. I just find her behavior questionable in this regard. When a physician calls you and then feels free to bill you I think there is a problem.

I saw Dr. Robbins at Kennestone Hospital where I received care fir Covid-19 issues. She was very professional, yet personable. She made me feel comfortable during our sessions. I initially felt that I did not need her services, but I really did. I still use some of the techniques that she used to treat me.
