Dr. Jessica Priest, DNP

Dr. Priest shows tremendous empathy, sensitivity and professionalism in a field that no longer attracts high caliber individuals or practitioners with experience handling dementia and Alzheimers in geriatric patients. She is experienced and understands the challenges facing children with parents who suffer from the deteriorating disease of both. I trust her and highly recommend her.

I felt completely comfortable. She got me completely, which is rare. Being understood deeply is rare, and Jessica does it very well.

Dr. Priest has been caring for my mother who is in a Long Term care facility. As we have been unable to visit due to Covid, it has been great having someone there to advocate in her behalf. She has been a wonderful advocate on my mothers behalf. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to fill this role.

In the middle of the COVID Pandemic my elderly mother was admitted to a long term care facility. Due to the COVID restrictions in place we could not visit her. Phone conversations with my mother brought into question the level of care she was receiving. We had to take action. Through a mutual friend we were introduced to Dr. Jessica Priest. She has been a Godsend. Her practice specializes in monitoring the care of loved ones in short and long term care facilities. She has become our eyes and ears. We now rest easy knowing our mother is receiving the care she deserves.

My visit was very stress free. Dr. Priest was very professional and at the same time had a very calming way about her that made me feel calm and relax. She also made understand the reason for her visit.

My grandmother was able to get a neurological assessment with Dr. Jessica Priest. My grandmother has recently changed her diet and exercise regime. Dr, Priest suggested her to start incorporating cognitive stimulating games to play to help stop the progression of memory loss. She is very detailed and knowledgable in this field and she does her research. I am looking forward to my grandmother's next appointment and most importantly her coming to our home. :)

Dr. Jessica is wonderful. I came in as a caregiver for my grandma. She reviewed all her meds, listened to her heart and lungs and helped us navigate sundowners and grandmas anxiety and depression. We are coming back soon for a follow-up and I'm super happy to do so. I'm grateful for the support she offered. My grandma really likes her too!

Dr. Priest seems to really care about her patients. My last visit with my mother, she went the extra mile, offering ideas on social services and recommended an adult day program that has been extremely beneficial thus far. I care about my mom deeply and it's good to know that her provider does as well.

Dr. Priest's practice harks back to what seems like a bygone era ("the good ole days") when medical practitioners paid as much attention to their professional competency as they did to their interaction, civility and charisma with patients (bedside manner). Her diagnoses were spot-on, a combination of intuition and fact-based deduction. I recommend Dr. J. Priest for those among us old enough to remember the famed TV neighborhood medic Marcus Welby MD and those in real-life like him!!
