Jessica Husty, PA-C

I found her to be rude. I was told that if my blood pressure went so high again (strike level high) to do something fun and relaxing. I felt she had no interest in my problem.

This PA “Jessie”is aweful. I had the Florida Cancer Institute advise me to go to the ER because I am anemic and they can not get my iron transfusions until Monday. I was very weak and lightheaded. This PA said “why are you in here?”, After I had already explained I was WEAK and was advised to go to the ER. Jessica PA said they had “no iron in the hospital”. No bedside manners at all. Didn’t even acknowledge my lightheadedness and weakness. I called the front nurse desk and told them I wanted to leave that this was a waste of my time. I heard her loudly say “good!” When they told her. When I started to leave I told her the care from her was very poor. At THAT point she said she would give me fluids? I declined and left. Will never step foot in that Hospital again. I see why the reviews and stars are so low. Do yourself a huge favor and go to a good hospital with competent doctors. Nurse Nina was aweful. Not a smile on her face. Barely spoke to me the entire time.

Jessica seems medically competent. Her manner is brusque and not patient friendly. My experience with her in the NCH hospital was curt and unprofessional. She was aloof. I needed an XRay ; then stitches. When she returned after an extended absence, we asked her when the Xray would occur. Her answer was "whenever they get here." She asked me questions about alcohol because I cut my hand on a dropped water glass . I did not have any alcohol. I felt that the question was highly inappropriate.
