She knew why I transfered and what I needed before we even started talking. She had reviewed my medical record. She looked me in the eye and told me she would help me find the cause of my illness and that I could call her personally if I had a crisis. She knew about Lewy Body Dementia, that I was wanting to go to a neurologist to be evaluated to see if I have it. She told me if the first neurologist was not positive, that she could refer to another neurologist. She again said "We will help you. My daughter, my DPOA, was with me. She offered me trust and hope. Its okay with me If I don't get a Lewy Body diagnosis because I know it can only be seen on otopsy. I have been searching for answers to the neurological illness I have had for 11 and 1/2 years. I just need documentation in my medical records of my complaints and symptoms. I need evaluation and a neurologist stating that what I have is neurological and not purely psychiatric.
