I went into the ER with pain in my abdomen under my left rib. She gave me an xray and EKG and came to the conclusion it was a muscle and gave me a muscle relaxer. When asked about high WBC she said it was nothing to worry about but put it on my discharge paperwork. My EKG came back abnormal. When asked she said it was fine. She sent me home and said nothing is wrong. I was back in the ER the next day with increased pain. I had a partial collapsed lung and a trip to a surgeon for gall stones. When looking at my MyChart, I saw she couldn’t get past the fact that I’m overweight because it was highlighted everywhere in red. If you are overweight, be WEARY. She may not listen to symptoms and blame it on weight.If this is your doctor, be sure to advocate for yourself! She had a terrible bedside manner and when asked about results, stated we don’t understand medical numbers and refused to explain. She treated us like we were stupid and we had to go back the next day for a CORRECT diagnosis.
