Jessica Bentzen, NP

I’ve been seeing Jessica for 10 years. Amazing. The two bad reviews here almost certainly left by 1 person (What are the odds that two people leave nasty reviews and both use the term “abysmal”? No one talks like that!). Sounds like an addict didn’t like being caught getting controlled meds from more than 1 doctor (benzos and then pain meds). So she discharged you for no reason and THEN over-prescribed the meds she took you off of to begin with??? YOU CAUGHT!! Probably wasn’t the first time. If a normal person was discharged, and honestly didn’t know why, they wouldn’t get all upset and jump online to bash the doctor. No one believes you, and certainly, no one feels bad for you. Make better decisions!

Was a patient of Ms. Bentzen since 2015 off and on, however was unceremoniously discharged 2/2022 without warning and occurring with Bentzen's typical negligent prescribing practices. For example, I was removed from a benzo I was taking and left only on an XR version, however, upon the discharge in 2/2022, I was prescribed the benzo that I was removed from, and the XR. Presumably my discontinuation was due to the fact that I suffered an injury and was in pain management, so otherwise contraindicated for both scripts. However, discharging me, I got three XR and three regular benzo script refills. Requested medical records (all telehealth because of covid) and no response.

When I explain how I'm feeling to Jessica, she makes me feel understood and doesn't judge me. She provides medications that are tailored to my needs. She takes any stressor, side effect into account, etc. I haven't had any issues with her and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is so intelligent when it comes to knowing meds and mood disorders. I trust her completely. I know she will take time out of her day to respond to any issue I have. There's a portal you can contact her and she also has a secretary that gets back right away.

Full disclosure: I was a former patient of Jessica's BEFORE the pandemic. In the two years I saw her, she was absolutely abysmal with not only scheduling appointments but keeping them. She would schedule an appointment and then reschedule it a month later, only to have to move it out two months later. The appointments that I did manage to get she didn't even show up to, so I was forced to reschedule yet again.

Jessica has helped me so much, I am a way better place because of Jessica's insight into my diagnosis and her continued support. She listens to me, she cares, and is available. I am thrilled to have such a wonderful and knowledgeable person like Jessica taking the lead on med decisions. Thanks, Jessica

Very easy to talk too. I would recommend her to anyone. She actually listens to what you are saying and is very understanding.
