Jesse Lawson, FNP

Mr. Lawson is somewhat judgemental and this - in my opinion- affects his ability to practice unbiased medicine. I first met him about a year and a half ago. He went over my medical history, my many trips to ER with testing done but no follow up with specialists. Instead of understanding that during the times in question, I didn't have insurance coverage and could not even afford the cost of the office visits to the specialists let alone any following treatments needed. Jesse Lawton quite literally word for word said after seeing my history that he thought "I was full of sh@#." ( With my life partner sitting right there with me to hear and see as well.) Not only was I humiliated but I was mortified. How was I to find the source of my pain if physicians don't treat me seriously? He treated me as if I were being dishonest about my pain and symptoms. He is no longer on the medical staff but I am still roaring mad. It turns out I have a huge pelvic mass exactly where I suspected it was. 12.5 x7.5x13cm When dealing with illnesses, time is crucial... This man didn't believe me and made me wait 7 mos for a colonoscopy which showed polyps and diverticulosis. This man's nonchalant attitude about my health and the way he presented me to other members of my careteam didn't exactly convey urgency. I am not happy at all with knowing that had he listened to me and ordered my MRI and other tests with more earnest need for making haste, this mass and it's accompanying health implications and any other complications that could have been thwarted if caught earlier. If you follow my reviews... You know I despise leaving bad reviews. However, this needs to be shared because his neglect to treat me with respect and treat my medical issues with a sincere desire to bring me back to the best health I can hope for. I thought about filling a formal complaint but he no longer practices with my group of physicians. The staff and all other physicians have been AWESOME. My relationship with my cardiologist, pulmonologist, gyno-oncologist and family practitioner are all very friendly and warm. I do hope Jesse learns humility, empathy and that he is filled with a new desire to treat people kindly.

Just got established with this primary care provider about a year ago. I've only met with him once but I felt like he was an old friend. He was very easy to talk to and took my concerns seriously. I would highly recommend Jesse Lawson!

Jessee helped to make me feel comfortable while giving me a sense of agency in the office. I felt like he really cared about my health, both physical and mental. Having him as my primary care provider for the past two years has been amazing; he is easy to reach and a great listener.

Horrible.
