He's so good he's referred to as the therapist for other therapists---always has been. I've known him for many years and sat in the chair opposite him. He does individual, couples, families, you name it. Seeing him is like being with a magician. Just when a client might feel there is no answer, no hope, no solution to the worst problem, the light comes on.... Jerry empowers people to figure it out for themselves, and quickly.

My then-wife and I had marital therapy with Jerry in 2014. During a therapy session with us, he called my privacy boundaries 'weird as 'excrement''' (sorry, app won't let me write the expletive he used.) I found that to be counter-productive to my trust in his decisions.

Jerry Campbell is so skilled that, sometimes, he's the therapist for other therapists! I discovered this many years ago while seated at a very large table in a Japanese restaurant. I was a green clinician among veterans, who all knew him; sang his praises. I know why. Over the years he's taught me innumerable, and valuable lessons... how to like myself... what to do with my own childhood trauma, among other things. He also has "the gift," which is the ability to do exceptional couples work--the most difficult of all interventions/mediums. So, whoever you are, I urge you to call him. I spoke to him today. Here I am, an older woman now, who's fallen in love (it's early) after years of being single. One session made all the difference. He eased my anxiety, offered support, even gave me a few pointers. As a woman and a feminist, I can say that I feel totally comfortable and calm in his presence (aka his male gender).
