My mother brought me to see him when I was young. He identifies and advertises himself as a "tough" therapist who can instill discipline and compliance etc. (I was never unruly, but my mother had control issues and used mental health as a means to entertain drama.) He was belligerent and at times just ridiculous. I remember at one point he was trying to say that my interest in strategy games was evidence of personality faults that my mother told him about... I don't think this note is going to really add anything. Parents who seek him out likely know what they're looking for, and kids don't have a choice. It should also be said that it's been about 15 years for me. I don't know if he's still the piece of work he was then (but I don't doubt it). I remember the beard also. Not really a positive or negative, but he had quite an appearance when I had the displeasure of seeing him.
