Life line for a better me!
I’ve had many therapists in my life as I am a severe trauma survivor. Jenn is warm patient compassionate, very intelligent, and extremely knowledgeable in EMDR and DBT skills. I am learning so much from her, which has enabled me to be more in control, and not as reactive. I’m liking myself more and more and not feeling ashamed like I used to feel. I know she’s there for me and supports me and she also tells me the truth and what I need to hear and it’s not always what I wanna hear, but it has always been very helpful. I highly recommend her as a therapist. She has definitely found her niche in the world. She is a gift.

Excellent and Resourceful Therapist
I saw Jenn for EMDR last year, and I can't think of a better person to help with my divorce. She took the time to hear me out and was so patient with me when I shared about my past, something other counselors have struggled with. She's super knowledgable about resources that helped me relax and she was very thorough when we did EMDR and super gentle! A solid and kind EMDR therapist!

Inflexible, judgemental, bordering on negligent
A few sessions in it seemed we were struggling to establish rapport. It happens! Jenn's way of approaching it was to tell me unprompted "*you're* really difficult to talk to." This was a culmination of a pattern where every time I asked a clarifying question or was honest about where I had doubts, she seemed to take it as an affront. What she said shocked me. I collapsed into tears, couldn't speak and was struggling to breathe. During this time Jenn was saying, "yes, this is great. I'm really glad that you're crying; this is called a rupture and it's awesome" (worryingly incorrect, and a ridiculous thing to say regardless). I eventually unfroze enough to hang up the call. She did not follow up to check on if I was safe. It was destabilizing, and deeply hurtful. I'm sure there are people out there she can be a good fit for. I have serious doubts that she is equipped to safely engage with trauma survivors.
