Dr. Welte seemed annoyed and dismissive, the appointment that took so long to get and promised me something more than my primary could give lasted 10 minutes and I felt pressured into doing a specific treatment which I had explicitly expressed concerns over. I relented but after speaking with my family and friends decided that my fear was more than justified and asked for more options. She took weeks to respond with two sentences and offered no interim intervention what's so ever. When my appointment came I accidentally cancelled at 9pm two nights before, called the office when they opened the next day, but was dropped as a patient. Can't find her on my chart to even reschedule myself and was told she was only at locations 40 minutes from me from now on. I'm in pain and my "pain management" doc doesn't care. I'm specifically asking not to be on opioids too, but I feel like I'm seen as a drug seeker because I don't want needles in my spine, and she won't do anything else.

Jennifer Welte conducts guessing games with treatment then blames the patient when the treatment doesn't work. Her bedside manner is not the greatest, very "what do you want, ok now leave" type of attitude. Pain management is serious and it leads to depression for many, just wish she cared more for her patients and really put in an effort to eliminate or reduce pain. If you need additional assistance like a work note, insurance paperwork filled out to justify all the testing and mini surgeries; she won't fill it out. Now the patient is left in pain, Dr. bills, employer upset, etc and all she can say is "let me stab you some more with these needles". I can't recommend her to anyone, she hasn't shown the compassion required of the oath she took.
