She is my favorite Dr. That i have ever had she really listens and cares about her patients. I wish I knew where should be practicing next, I would definitely travel to keep her as my doctor.

This visit started off by Jennifer coming in and introducing her self. I then stated please forgive me. I am going through a 12 year separation /divorce and I was explaining to her that I was going to wearing my shades because I’ve been in tears over the last week and have not stopped. She started asking what I had wrong with my back I looked at her with a blank stare and asked her. Why are you referring to my back? I said to her I’m not in here for back issue. She replied well I looked into your previous history and it shows issues with back. I replied I came in here for shakiness and a urinary problem. That they have been treating since April. She kept asking me the same questions. Everybody has asked me the last four visits nothing had changed and I told her that and she wanted me to give them a urine sample. I explained to her I’m probably not going to be able to give you a urine sample because I had issues urinating, I then asked referring back to my previous visit years ago when Dr Christopher Jenny and said is it possible that I need to be on a steroid with the antibiotics if there’s something going on in my urethra? She didn’t like that I mentioned that. Her demeanor towards me immediately changed and I started to cry because I felt like she was talking to me in a very passive aggressive way, and I was staring at the wall she said you need to look at me when I speak to you! I immediately said I want to see your name tag. She tried to cover it up with her hand and I told her no big deal it’ll be on the paper work. She immediately removed herself from the room and made her own narrative to the office manager and my original doctor, Christopher Jenny My original doctor that had been treating me for everything came assuming because she lied to everyone and said that she felt unsafe so they had to have a male figure come into the room male figure ask me to leave and bingo, they were asking me to leave because I had hollered at her. I looked at him and asked him to ask any staff near the room if they heard anyone hollering. I have no clue how Jennifer Ulseth is patient care I would honestly fear for anyone that was under her care or treatment. In my opinion and should not be working in medical care around people.

Not A Good Experience
I went to this provider once and decided I did not want to return. During the visit, I felt very uncomfortable and like she wasn’t listening or didn’t care about my concerns. Was more focused on her computer than she was listening to me. I ended up finding another PCP that I wish I had gone to in the first place.

It breaks my heart to write this review as a fellow health care practitioner. I had a TERRIBLE experience with Jennifer Ulseth, APRN. I was a new patient coming to establish care. I am reasonably healthy. I do want to start by saying that my appt was at 10am, and I arrived at 10:06am due to unforeseen traffic. I did apologize to the staff, and had no issues waiting longer if needed to see the provider. I am placed in the room by an MA after she obtains my vitals, and then I ask to use the restroom. When I return to the exam room, Jennifer, APRN, is in the Provider chair waiting for me and says “You’re running late so let’s get started”, which I thought was incredibly rude to start! We proceed to go over my health history, and through the entire visit, I felt that I was not at all heard by her. When it came to her providing education for the health concern I approached her with, she responds with “well you should know this already”. I understand that perspective, but if I had my own health under control, I would not be here!! Yes I have background knowledge, but I deserve the same treatment as any other patient. She has no idea what I do or do not know, and making assumptions based on my profession leaves so much room for error!! I then asked her for an epi-pen for a pistachio allergy, and she never confirmed that she would sent that to my pharmacy. She also DID NOT examine me at all. The visit was over, and after months of waiting to establish care with someone, I felt like I got nothing done. The entire visit was very passive aggressive, and I do not feel that I had a good experience here.

Makes orders without understanding patient
She filled in answering emails when my doctor was out. She ordered a medicine for me that was high-risk risk and my doctor and I had already decided to try options first. I was blessed that my pharmacist caught the situation and raised concerns. I understand that a speedy response to patients' emails is a great goal, BUT not at the expense of thoughtful, knowledgable direction!

I LOVE HER!
When my previous NP left TGMG, I was devastated and just knew she could never be replaced. Boy was I wrong. “Doc Jen,” as I refer to her, is the best! She is everything one could want in a PCP. She is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, kind, caring, and compassionate. I’ve recently been plagued with an as-yet undetermined cardiology issue. On my last two visits, she has actually stopped mid-visit, stood me up, and given me a hug … saying, “Sometimes something as simple as a hug is good medicine.” At 65 years old I’ve seen many, many doctors … but none has ever cared enough about ME to give me a hug. If you’re looking for a PCP, I highly recommend Doc Jen.

Disappointed
A friend had recommended me to a Physician at this practice and since I was unable to get an appointment with her, I decided to see this provider. Although quite pleasant, this PA did not understand my concerns. She focused on a minor issue and ordered an x-ray (which was negative) and ignored the major issues I was having. The provider focused on her computer and not me. I feel her diagnostic skills are lacking and she doesn't take the time to listen to the patient.

Pleasantly surprised :)
I had tried to get an apt with another doctor at TGMG for awhile now. When I called they told me that wasn’t a possibility but suggested I make an apt with Dr. Ulseth. I was very hesitant especially when I saw that she was younger than me (assuming she didn’t have much experience) but I agreed and honestly was going to cancel. My fiancé convinced me to go just so I could get my medications refilled. Let me say, I COULD NOT BE MORE THRILLED. I actually called my fiancé after and said thank you for making me go lol. I waited for maybe 2 minutes before she came in and took the time to talk to me about my current health issues and actually was more informative than the 3 other doctors that I’ve seen within the last year. I felt like she really cared and wanted what was best for me. Needless to say if you have doubts, I’m telling you right now you don’t need to. I obviously will be keeping her as my primary care doctor and just had my mom make an apt too! Thanks Dr. Ulseth :)
