Dr. Jennifer Shane, OD

As a medical professional, I could NEVER in good conscience tell my patients or loved ones to go to a clinic that chooses to harm rather than help patients. I found myself in a terrible bind (irreparably broken glasses and out of contacts waiting to get in for an appt), and instead of helping by giving me a sample contact set as a bridge to make it to my scheduled appt (only a few weeks away), Dr. Shane and her office left with me these options: wear contacts long past their intended lifespan (completely against their own care guidelines) OR try to live my daily life functionally blind (I can't legally drive or see more than 2 feet without contacts or glasses). Contact samples are given to optometrists for FREE by companies to help their sales, meaning Dr. Shane's office had absolutely nothing to lose. Why they chose to make an example out of me (?) as a normal, well-meaning patient in a very stressful situation is incomprehensible to me as a medical professional. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Dr Shane was excellent in every way. She gave a comprehensive exam and provided clear and helpful information to improve my eye care. Her staff was professional and timely.

Best eye exam experience ever! Fit me with multifocal contacts and it is a life changing experience. This is the first time I have worn contacts in my life. They care and take the time to explain all options to you, train you on how to put them in and take them out. I left with a pair in and for the first time in 20 years I could read a menu without reaching for glasses. Thank you to the whole team! Words cannot describe how much I appreciate you all!

Her communication is poor and never calls you back. Her staff moreover laughs at you behind your back with any concerns. It is concerning to see how a person in medicine treats the public. I would not recommend due to my bad experiences.

They are poor to communicate and the doctor Dr Shane never calls you back with any concerns. I have dealt with many optometrists over the years and this is by far the worst service I have ever experienced. I would not recommend them. Overall a very bad experience.
