Jennifer Russo, LPC

I had the unfortunate experience of a couples session with Jennifer Russo (she calls herself a "Dr" but she does not have those credentials). She is a fraud. From the moment we began I realized that it was not a therapy session and impartiality was out the window. She interrogated me, and called me a liar several times within the first 5 minutes. Jennifer also gave me medical advice that she is in no way qualified to provide. Her opinion went completely counter to the direction provided by the qualified medical professionals treating me. She claims to be a family/addiction specialist but it's clear that Jennifer holds a grudge against addicts, and uses the therapy sessions as a means to preach her activist views. The worst part is that my now ex-wife and I sought help from Jennifer, but instead due to her aggressive approach, our relationship was significantly setback in a matter of minutes. I'm just one person with an opinion, but I suggest you look elsewhere for a real therapist.
