Jennifer Lakins, LMHC

I absolutely love working with Ms. Lakins. She is attentive, always checking up on me. I have a hard time taking myself seriously in therapy and she's helped me work on being so "exposed". She knows every and all aspects of my life, is absolutely non-judgemental and helps me understand why I make the decisions I do. She lets me talk and talk forever, but intervenes at exactly the right moments. She notices when I'm self sabotaging and helps to gently guide me towards facing my fears and to work on things I've been scared of. I'm gay and she is absolutely understanding and treats my sexuality as if it weren't any different from anyone else. I've talked about struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, debt, rejection, and she has helped me through it all.
