Bad Experience
I needed therapy in adulthood to untangle the trauma of having a mental health professional tell me my behavior was 'the problem' when I was a 12 year old who was being bullied and scapegoated by family members. Jennifer was young and inexperienced back then - and the best of us can make a mistake. But I hope she believes people now.
