She kept complaining and grumbling that she was tired because she had come from another birth before me (which is what she signed up for when she decided to be a midwife, so that is on her, not the first time mom who went into labor). She didn't make any effort to hide that she didn't want to be there, was short and rude with me, checked me and touched me during contractions when I told her to stop, and disregarded anything me or my husband said during the delivery. It caused high anxiety and distress that made everything more difficult and ultimately lead to interventions that would not have been necessary if the situation was calmly handled and treated with care. I have not returned to this midwife group because I don't want to risk having her ruin another birth. It is unfortunate because the rest of the midwives were great and I would have been happy to continue care with them.

Unbelievably incompetent. She told my wife after one 5 minute visit, after NO tests were ran, that she had PCOS and we left with a prescription for metformin.

Office visits & delivery=fair to good. I never felt like she was a true advocate for me & my baby, which was what I had hoped for w/a midwife group. I felt pressure from her to allow pitocin & at times found her behavior unprofessional (e.g., whispering to nurses & family members during delivery instead of talking to me directly). My baby was born healthy & I'm grateful for the part she played. I just wish she had been more willing to ask what I wanted & listen to my concerns. I won't go back.
