Jennifer Bradshaw, NP

My complaints and symptoms were constantly dismissed even with a bicuspid aortic valve, 4.6 cm ascending aortic aneurysm and connective tissue disorder. This is for Ms. Bradshaw and every other PA and/or NP that works with Dr. L (only saw him twice in 3 years). I'd always hear "you're just dehydrated" or "exercise" or "lose weight". (I was 5'8", 146 lb and running over 50K weekly thru 11/19 until my symptoms became too severe.) She did actually have me wear a heart monitor once. I was also told to keep track of my BP. I didn't hear the monitor results until my next pointless appointment; something like abnormal electrical impulses in my left ventricle (no biggie, right). She didn't listen to my BP readings; only questioned why I took them sitting and standing (orthostatic intolerance). Per LMC in 02/20 my aneurysm was still 4.6 cm and my valve was fine. Per Richland in 10/20, aneurysm has grown to 5.0 cm and my valve is leaky. Referred to Duke for valve replacement and aneurysm repair.
