Dr. Jeffrey Wencel, DPT

I've had chronic lower back pain for about a decade and have seen several physical therapists for it; some helped a bit, but none made much of a difference, until I began working with Dr. Wencel. He is an incredibly kind person who communicates clearly and compassionately; he explained to me how my nerves have been altered by chronic pain and what we can do to address those issues. He laid out a plan of treatment that is within my ability, without causing symptom flares. I have been working with him for a bit over a month and have already made more progress than I ever did with any physical therapist before. In fact, I even have some pain-free days now, which is a new and welcome experience for me! He told me at the beginning that healing my back would take time, and, given the progress I have made so far, I can actually see a pain-free future ahead. Dr. Wencel is nothing short of the best physical therapist out there.
