Dr. Jeffrey Larson, OD

I have seen Dr. Larson a couple times through HealthPartners in Bloomington. He is great. I have very poor eyesight so my exams take longer than normal and it means so much to have someone who is patient and understanding and not trying to rush through the exam. He also has a good sense of humor which eases my tension through this sometimes difficult process. I highly recommend him.

I made an appointment with Dr. Larson today because of my concern of failing vision even though I had a regular exam last year. He was very thorough, answered all my questions, explained what he was doing and why, and generally gave me plenty of information when he told me I had cataracts. He gave me info on surgeons and what I could expect. He spent more time with me than most doctors, and made me feel comfortable. Besides being very professional, we even had a few laughs. He is great!!!!

I went to Dr. Larson with a strange combination of needs: a basic eye exam, but also to learn how much my eyes had adjusted since having mono-vision Lasik 8 years ago. I found a Saturday appointment through my Health Partners website. He was the only doctor on that day, so service was a bit slow, but he took the time to help me understand how my vision has changed, slightly, and gave me 3 different prescriptions so I could have some flexibility in terms of how to proceed. He's really great.
