Excellent doctor
Dr. Cory was amazing. He explained testing, did a very thorough pre-test interview and was pleasant to talk to. The exam was daunting and his staff was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend!

"Warning: Stay clear of Mr. Cory, PHD at BZN Health. He withheld information that was important to my physician(s)and me. He refused to communicate with my physician and would not return calls. He has refused to give my testing scores. I intend to file complaints to the Board of Psychology or any other board that would look into this provider. A letter to the states Insurance Commissioner is in order as well. As he had no problem billing my insurance company without providing testing scores. Beware he does not base his opinions on diagnostic processes, but on his own subjective opinion instead. Both of my physicians were very disappointed in his lack of professionalism and lack of knowledge pertaining to my type of diagnosis to include medications and imaging. Mr. Corys report was contradictive, unprofessional and references scoring, but did not release them. Big Red FLAG. I do NOT recommend this provider, he acts as if he is a medical physician, but is NOT an MD. "

Quick to diagnose
My son ran out after talking with Dr. Cory for only 30 minutes. My son didn't even do the entire day of testing and Dr. Cory still felt like he could diagnose him with ODD which as his mom, I don't believe that's what he is. I believe he has high-functioning autism but Dr. Cory said because he can make eye contact and make friends, he's not autistic. He needs more training!!! Don't take your child to him!!!

Two Experiences
Two trips to Dr. Cory... Our first child: All seemed well until I read the eval. Cory blamed bad parenting for mental illness, quoting a document from a Billings agency (after reading the same document, my child's therapist was stunned by its conclusions, and said it was the last time they'd ever refer a client there.) But Cory ran with the document in his eval, even extending it it by casting his own insults, all of which were judgmental and contrived; don't think a knowledgable person would agree with any of them. Traumatic for everyone. The second experience was for my younger child in an unrelated visit. I would never have used Cory again except for a mixup, but this time I do believe he was helpful. He intelligently diagnosed our younger kid's difficulties and the prescription obtained as a result seems promising. So I agree with comments suggesting that Cory is quick to cruelly blame and shame with his diagnoses, but I think he does understand psychology and is competent.

Dr Cory was to evaluate me for my memory. I went to see a neurologist, he sent me to him. On my first appointment I was given two tests, then I had to do four different books about my mental health. I had been given a specific diagnosis of Dementia. On the second visit he kept saying, “ Your going to be really surprised with what I found.” He was almost giddy. His recommendation was that I go to a psychiatrist for bipolar. He was unprofessional about my Internal Medicine Dr, who is phenomenal. Also I had two testings from a neurophysiologist who tested my memory, took my history and doesn’t believe I was diagnosed properly. She has a PHD in Neurophysiology. I wouldn’t take my dog to him. BEWARE OF THIS DR. I HAVE READ OTHER PEOPLES REVIEWS! They have had the same experiences!

This guy is a QUACK who doesnt care about his patients best interest. Against everyone's advice, I went to him because my work comp case manager said he was good... despite my clearly documtned head injury - Dr. Corey said I was FAKING, actually "malingering." Even my case manager was shocked and she personally got me a second opinion because "he might just have missed something." WOW. This man is just about the $$$$$, stay away.

He acted like he had something to prove, started cross examining my wife at the 1st meeting as if trying to catch her in a lie, kept grilling her as to her age and school grade she was in when she ran away from home, (30+ years earlier), saying she was wrong about her estimate (she was just making her best guess). He basically accused my wife of exaggerating her condition, without knowing her history based on a 15 minute interview. This guy is a quack, stay away.

Mr. Cory has shown a multi patient history of NOT doing his homework on patients. He habitually has a practice of stating, "that the patient is malingering", eg-- lieing with regard to any self reporting. Referals into him from other dr.s are detoured into abusive inaccurate reports on patients, which are a partial function of him not having access to patient histories. I suspect he doesn't have the funds to pay for those histories, which involve neither Medicare, nor other legitimate sources.
