Phd Doctor with immense scientific based wisdom
Telehealth
Dr. Kocherhans is an excellent therapist, a man of integrity, kind and very caring. What really distinguishes him from most therapists is his wisdom. I am not talking about just life experience but his wisdom is vast and always based on scientific research and undisputed facts. He gets to the root cause of problems very efficiently and even when you present him the most complex situations, I have found his advice to be consistently the best even in areas outside of his specialty (trauma). And yes he is a great listener but go ahead and ask him for advice. He will calmly and professionally give you one. And if you listen, you will observe incredible positive changes. I feel very lucky to be his patient.

Dr Kocherhans is a supportive therapist. Which means that the patient does the bulk of the work. He listens and may give suggestions. If you want more acitve therapy, look for a behavioral therapist

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Kocherhans?
Dr kocherhans genuinely cares about the well being of his clients. He has helped me to process traumas and learn to control my responses when being triggered from my PTSD. I've seen a few therapists in the past and did not connect with them,, and struggled to feel understood and to gain an understanding of my issues.

Dr. Kockerhans is a poor doctor, in that he listens and spend his time chatting aimlessly and repeating self evident drivels. It is a waist of time to meet with him.
