Definitely not recommended
Jean Koehler did a lot of damage to me and my marriage. She was complicit with my (now ex) husband's gaslighting. She talked about my "marital obligations" (sexually speaking) but never talked about his. I should have walked out after the second session, but I didn't, and I regret it. Trust your instincts with her.

The best therapist I have ever seen. She tells it like it is. But very kind and always interested in what I said. Very helpful getting through a very difficult situation.

Jean Koehler is a terrible marriage therapist. She told my ex-husband that there would be no hope for me because I had a supposed "low IQ".The reason I scored teribbly on IQ test is because I was majorly depressed and anxious being married to a narcissist, which Jean never even recognized.By the way, I graduated with honors my nurse practitioner program. So, how's that for a low IQ? Thanks a lot (not) to Jean for planting these rotten seeds in my husband's mind that led to him divorcing me.
