As a former Certified Ophthalmic Medical Assistant, I feel that I am a good judge of what a thorough eye exam entails, and have the ability to ascertain the competency eye care professionals. I have been a very pleased patient of Dr. Sifrit for several years, and I am so impressed with his knowledge, his personable manner, and the enthusiasm he has for his job. He keeps up with all the latest technology in the eye care field. I personally have issues with nearsightedness and presbyopia, as well as dry eyes (Sjogrens Syndrome) and retinal issues due to autoimmune problems. Dr. Sifrit keeps tabs on every issue I have with my eyes and refers me to retinal specialists if necessary. In fact, the only reason I still have 20/20 vision in each eye is because of his vigilance and his referring me to an ophthalmologist before I even realized I had any serious medical issues with my eyes. I can't recommend him highly enough.
