The Couples Clinic is an academic leader in their field. My wife and I had seen a marriage counselor before. The science of the field, and logic was very confusing - and made worse by the sessions. The materials the Couples Clinic sends you before the first appointment cleared things up. I had a solid grasp of the field before the first visit. The answered lots of questions, cleared things up, and helped not only our marriage but helped me understand the field very clearly. They were also open to asking what I would describe as informed questions. And providing good answers. As a physician I believe in general a good practitioner can explain their field, and the rational for their suggestions/treatment plan in a comprehensible manner to a lay person. Questions are answered in a professional way. If they can't- it is because they probably don't understand the field themselves. If the practitioner reacts poorly to your questions- that is a marker of a bad practitioner.

After waiting far to long to seek therapy, Jason was just amazing in helping us navigate the road blocks we had been experiencing for so long. A few months of working with him have made a world of difference, and we are forever greatful we found him! There truly is a method here that works wonders, and Jason makes it all seem obtainable and undaunting.

I was reluctant to seek therapy initially, but after working with Jason and experiencing the positive results, I am confident in the concepts, process, and methods taught by Jason. Jason is attentive, empathetic, objective, and is skilled at putting a leash around tense topics and leading the way to positive resolution. He has helped my wife and I through challenging times. Jason is patient and has repeatedly gone the extra mile to help even if it does not come at a time convenient for him.
