Dr. Jason Munitz, OD

While the technicians spent quite a bit of time checking my vision and taking a photograph, because they noticed a large change in my prescription. Dr. Muniz, the optometris spent about 5 minutes with me and simply told me that everything is fine. I was shocked by the cost, about 6-7 times what I would have paid if I had gone to a doctor of optometry at Costco or Walmart. In fact, I didn't trust the prescription and went to Costco, and got a lot more attention from the doctor, who patiently explained everything. When I complained about the cost to the finance department of the clinic, she said that I haven't been there in 3 years so that had to be extra thorough. Doesn't really make sense. Does it mean that they are sloppier with patients who go there frequently? Or do they need to make up for the lost income? Next year, I will go to the ophthalmologist that my wife sees at the same clinic, who charges less but is a lot more thorough and unhurried.

Waited 1 hour + 20 minutes before we saw the doctor. Had never been there before. When he finally came to see my daughter he did not introduce himself to me or to my 18 year old daughter. He just kind of walked in and said "what's up". Not impressed. Wont be returning.
