I saw this provider during an episode of acute back pain and explained my long history of progressively worsening symptoms, He assured me that it was just "regular old back pain.” I thought he was very insentitive to my situation. He had me lay down to examine me and when it was done, he immediately turned away to type on his computer while I struggled to sit up. He saw me walk in in obvious pain but just let me flop around on the table crinkling that roller paper for what had to be a minute as I figured out a way to finally sit up. He never even bothered to turn around or get off his stool, just kept typing away. I asked about imaging and he said it wasn't protocol. A year later I had an MRI and my "regular old back pain" was in fact 2 herniated discs with nerve compression. In my medical record he noted that," He is in obvious discomfort, but not in acute distress." I ended up missing 3+weeks of work while I laid on the floor waiting to feel better. I was literally crawling to the bathroom for weeks. Does that sound acute to you?

Horrible appointment he was an hour behind came in and complained for 5 minutes did not listen to what I had to say and gave me the injection even though I thought and said I no longer needed it. He did not listen to what I tried to say. My husband was with me he witnessed the whole thing. So I received an injection that I do not believe that I still needed by an arrogant PA. I see a lot of Dr's and this one was not pleasant.

I had such terrible knee pain I was unable to walk. I saw Jason at the Sanford Orthopedic Walk in Clinic. He assessed my problem, expedited an MRI and gave me a cortisone shot. All in the same day. He went out of his way to help me alleviate the pain and explain my situation and everything very clearly. I was also impressed everyone at the walk in clinic. He is a very caring individual.

Jason Hellman has been working with me and issues of osteoarthritis for several years. He uses ultrasound for my hip injections. For me, the injections are mostly pain free. He is very knowledgable, communicates/explains the procedures/care clearly, tells it like it is and wastes no time during a visit (which means he is on time with the appointments). He listens and answers questions clearly.
