I have been seeing Janet for many many years. Janet speaks directly, which is just what I need, even if sometimes I don't want it. She is always kind, and listens to my thoughts on my medications and any potential changes I might need. She has been very responsive in my time of crisis as well as in dealing with more typical scheduling needs. Janet is a true professional deserving of my respect.

I have been seeing Janet Callahan for over 13 years. She is RARELY late and in my opinion, she is the BEST at what she does. I started having anxiety attacks in 2005 and my PCP prescribed me something that caused terrible side effects, Janet knew how to make it right. She will not baby you, she takes notes on her laptop during sessions, but she is very involved and not callous or cold hearted. I recommend Janet to everyone who struggles with a behavioral health issues.

I saw Janet for about a year. I suffered severe post partum anxiety and depression. Honestly, at first, I didn't think Janet was for me. In fact, I told her that. I felt at that time, that I needed someone to tell me what I wanted to hear. She was just very honest, very caring in her own way. She always returned my calls & I'm so glad that I stuck with her. She saw me at my worse, and took care of me until I was completely better. I followed all her instructions. She got me back to normal self.

I have been experiencing very bad side effects of anxiety and depression until it all came to a debilitating head within the last 2 months. My life was spiraling out of control and I couldn't get a grasp and I saw no hope. In desperation, I reached out to my job's EAP program and that led me to Janet. After seeing multiple health professionals and feeling even worse, just one session with Janet let me know straight away that I found the help I was seeking. I see glimmers of my old self again.

She was rude, did not listen to me or address my main symptoms, did not want to hear input from my therapist and She refused to treat my anziety so I could start trauma therap. All she kept trying to get me to schedule another appointment ( 4 total before I got a new NP that listened and treated me with correct meds)...can you say billing fraud! If you are seeking treatment for anziety or trauma DON'T GO HERE SHE WON'T HELP YOU...but she will be more than happy to bill your insurance co!

I've seen Janet for nearly 10 years. I tend to be a difficult customer/patient and have high expectations for my 'service providers' whether Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, roofer or car mechanic. I value honesty, respect, clarity, competence. Given I've been with Janet 10 years tells mountains about my trust and respect.

Every appointment she was 15-20 minutes late. Throughout our interaction she was uninterested & distracted. Her field is a sensitive one and requires people being open w/ her & vulnerable. Which is difficult with her arrogant attitude. Our last interaction I was on the verge of tears because of how badly her front office rep treated me. I tried to explain the situation to Janet, she laughed at me and continuously spoke over me and blew me off. I refuse to give her any more of my money.

Janet is very thorough with her patients. She takes the time to explain the various options you have for treatment. If it weren't for her, I would've never been able to get my life back on track with my medication.
