Horrible
Telehealth
I shared a very private story with Janet. She laughed at me, dismissed all my trauma, and diagnosed my entire family (parents and siblings) with mental health disorders. This was all in our first intake session. It was so bad I literally had to have therapy for my therapy session. I was so scared to see another therapist after my horrible experience with Janet, that I had to go to a new therapist with my spouse. The state of Iowa finds all this acceptable for a therapist to do, but if you’re thinking of seeing Janet RUN away.

Janet is awesome!
I've had only a few sessions with her and she has already built great rapport with me and has really helped shift my perspective on some challenges I am facing. I've been pretty selective with therapists in the past, but within 10 minutes of talking to Janet I knew this was it. She is very compassionate, empathetic, perceptive, and even knows how to make you laugh! I was recommended to her by one of my friends and her husband, who both also see and love her.
