Never pointed out my congenital birth defect
Janet was my first nurse practitioner as a young woman. I trusted her with all of my feminine and reproductive needs. I began seeing her once I started the pill at 17-18. Flash forward 10 years later, I moved to NM and was just diagnosed with uterus didelphys. As a health professional, how do you miss such diagnosis after multiple pelvic exams and pap smears? I always knew I was different and abnormal down there but she couldn’t explain why. Now, at 27, I have my answer. So glad I moved to Albuquerque where I finally got answers. Healthcare professionals need to be aware of such abnormal conditions. I know it’s rare… but it doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Janet is very professional, yet she makes you feel comfortable like you are talking to an old friend. I highly recommend Janet. I have been seeing her for many years and she will refer you to an MD if/when needed, but her level of care is by far one of the best!
