Dr. James Zender, PHD

Dr. Zender is calm, caring, collected. He is passionate about helping others heal and teaching them also self help techniques. He is understanding about trauma and it's effect on the brain. He is a true God send. One of those rare jewel type of Drs. I'm glad telehealth came along because he was a missing piece in my recovery and wellness team. He is very knowledgeable and constantly educating himself. He is has written a book about recovering from your car accident and is an expert on brain injury.

Dr. Zender has made a substantial difference in my life, more than any other psychotherapists that I've gone to. My sessions with Dr. Zender has helped me to learn the difference between what I can and cannot control in my life. I took a couple psychology classes, and I frequently read medical journals. I plan to return to school for a psych degree in 2023. Summary: My mom's late therapist often said that he cured his own anxiety and I thought that was absurd. With Dr. Z's advice, I finally understand how curing anxiety is possible, and I'm staying hopeful that I can do it too.
