Dr. Purvis really DID NOT help me at all. I was having anger management problems. I saw him weekly for at least six months. It cost a lot of money! We did some work in an anger management book. Over time I found he was asking me more about my profession and a interesting business project I was working on than about my anger and my stress problems. I concluded that he doesn't care about my anger management at all. He was interested in my personal and professional life as entertainment.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Purvis?
He was supportive in the beginning. However, I was shocked when I called him during an emergency when he was out of the office, and his response was extremely rude and unprofessional. I couldn’t believe how disrespectful and condescending he was to me. He proceeded to scold and ridicule me at the onset of our next meeting. I left that day knowing I would never go back. Do not waste your time or money with Dr. Purvis. His bi-polar demeanor made me feel like I was with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
