Dr. James Olsen III, PHD

Olsen had arranged group therapy sessions where I was tormented by family and others to try to force changes in behavior. He has told me I was 'retarded' and 'not a person' the after effects of this have lasted almost ten years. HORRIBLE DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR CHILDREN!!!

I feel that some of his behavior was so inappropriate he should have been arrested. Definitely do not recommend

Dr. Olson assessed my son at around age 6-7 at our request. We were very impressed with his awareness of the issues our son was facing at the time, and how they were affecting him psychologically. The testing was right on the mark - and allowed him to receive services within our school system. I would recommend him if you need additional testing to back up concerns, or help identify needs your child might have in order to get them services.

He never told me what diagnosis I had nor did he explain his therapeutic technique or what the goal of my therapy was. I admit I had made a rude coment to him but in sessions folowing that he began to mess with my head. That is not appropriate behavior especially coming from a therapist who should routinely have to put up with insaults as he deals with patients with emotional and behavioral issues. We were discussing some social issues I was having and he told me to "give up" on making friends

He made me really uncomfortable , so ucofetable I never went back . I don't recommend him or his strange tenement methods

Great with autism! Great advocate with schooling issues and understanding neurological disease!
